dipinti nelle sue nature morte.
Luisa Albert, strictly from the truth
Luisa Albert’s studio Overlooks the amazing Piazza Cavour, between grassy hills and trees.Upon entering you are immersed in a warm and messy environment, full of paintings and easels, between colors and objects that are the same as those found in her paintings and still lifes. An overview of works displayed on the staircase takes visitors from the entrance to the first floor. Portraits, landscapes, compositions and interiors are merged in a warm and enveloping light.Upstairs, where the artist works, two large windows on the ceiling, smear the light into the room, smell of turpentine fills the space. Here is where the artist composes still lifes, all strictly "real" and where the collectors, that commission their portraits, pose.On a wall, pictures of the faces of Ottavio Mazzonis and John S. Sargent observe her severely while she’s working. On the opposite brick’s wall is full of small sketches with portraits, figures of boxers and horses.Visiting this study makes us understand that painting is not dead and that is not even to be considered an old-fashioned experience.
